Onion shaped dome inspired peice

I created these peices when i was inspired by onion shaped domes. I wanted to get a rough idead of what i could do, so i used paper stripes and played around with manipulating the shape of the body, I found this worked well and it was fun to do as i got to experiement with manipulating different parts of the body.

Greek inspired peice....

I created the traditional one shoulder top, which was inspired by Greek clothing, I then put a twist on it, which was to make the garment out of bright colours, also known as colour blocking. I feel this worked out well.

My Military Inspired dress...

I made this garment for a uni project, we were asked to pick our own concept. I have always liked military inspired peices, so i decided to go down the same route and put my own twist on things, I got the pin striped material with the gold buttons. I feel it worked well...

Matthew Williamson-10 years in fashion.

I found some pictures on my camera which were of the Matthew Williamson exhibition (10 years in fashion) at the design museum. As being a huge fan of Matthew Williamson i wanted to share these photos with you.....

The beginning - The housewife

I conducted a photo shoot for my current project, developing practice, I wanted this idea of a housewife transforming into a sexy chic. My concept is 'That feeling of clothing', it is basically about clothing making you feel good aswell as looking good. This photo shoot can see the transformation from the housewife, who no one notices, goes through this journey of breaking free, experimenting, becoming a working girl to this sexy independent woman. I chose these images to be shown as i feel they were the strongest. Hope you feel the same.
